I'll never compare nyc with a big jungle, because here in nyc we have a lot oportunities we just have to be positive and persistence and good thinker first we should improve our comunication and be a hard worker also we need to save money for bedtimes but the most people likes to spend money buying inecesary things like, fashion cloths,ipod,expensive cellphones,jewery, electronics etc.
In order to survive in the jungle one has to be wise on consuming his or her resources. One also has to be flexible and be willing to adapt to his or her environment.
I love New York, I like the system of life and its opportunities. Like suggestions so that a person survives in this city, I'll say the following: 1.- To speak English. 2.- To be honest and enterprising 3.- If something does not know, to have perseverance to learn and to be the best one in this 4.- And save money more that to spend it.
NYC is a beautiful place, but it is definitely not easy to survive in it, especially, for immigrants. To survive these difficulties, one needs to learn English, find a descent job to support him/her self, get familiar with this city such as, get to explore places, ways of transportation, reading maps, etc..Also, one must find a nice place to live and good friends to spend time with and to relief everyday stress.
New York is a very exciting place to live, but as the one of the bigest city around the world there are a lot of oportunities to succed is not easy, but if you work hard and do tinghs on the rigth way like: Learn the language,stay out of troubles and if you find a good job be responsible and always try to learn as much as you can on any field were you are working at, that will be a great help on your salary; All this things can help any body to survive in this beautiful city, but not matter what do not ever forget where you came from.
